My patchwork teddy bear quilts started 11 years ago when I first designed a simple teddy bear for my son. I thought there simply isn't any bear quilts out there that are easy to sew. After taking it to play group and around town I found out it was a huge hit and every 1 wanted 1.  I never thought of marketing it because I only had the 1 bear. The first bear quilt that I made was tragically stolen, fortunately, I had more fabric to make the same 1 before my son new it was missing.  I never made another bear till 2005

     In 2005 I retired and gave up working as a full time cook at a pizza restraunt. I got married to my beautiful husband Garry. We decided to have more children. It was then while shifting from beautiful Wollongong to Sydney that I came across my sons old teddy bear pattern. I decided to see if I could make more bears and I did. I found out that every has a particular favourite bear that they love and they had to put in a suggestion to my ever growing collection. I must admit I came up with 35 of my own and has soon grew to 200+.

I have been sewing for about 11 years now, mainly clothes but have made a number of quilts for the household and gifts for friends. What I love about these quilts is you can take them with you and put them in small packs for travelling. I love machine embroidery  and hopefully 1 day soon to put these bears on embroidery file format.

   But till that day, we have a large number of bears to edit and print. We are going to be releasing more of our bears back into the wild web page so look out for them! So I hope you love these bears as much as we do and have the same amount of fun sewing them too.
